Activate Faith... SPARK

MLC has just recieved it's shipment of our brand new Sunday school curriculum for
2011-2012! We are very excited to introduce SPARK.

Spark is a faith formation program that gets children ages 2 through grade 6 excited about God’s Word. Spark lessons bring to life 150 stories from the Old and New Testament through games, art, music, and science, to accommodate all the different ways kids learn. And Spark’s online resources–activity ideas, preparation videos, and more–make lesson planning fun and easy for teachers.

The students will use their Spark Bibles each Sunday as the focus of their lessons with accompanying study materials to guide them and their teachers in lessons from both the Old and New Testaments.

The Minnetonka Lutheran congregation, together with the students’ parents, will present kindergarteners a story-style Bible and third graders an NRSV study Bible. Both of these Bibles are a part of the “Spark” study curriculum with colorful covers, illustrated Bible stories for younger students, and helpful study notes for older students.
