The quilting ladies have been blessed by donations of much wonderful yardage to be used to put together many fine quilts for Lutheran World Relief. 
In addition to the material, already-made vintage quilts and quilt tops have also been given. In the interest of appreciation for the handwork that has gone into these beautiful items, an appraisal was done by a Certified Quilt Appraiser. Jean Carlton, the appraiser, verified the value of the various quilts and made suggestions to bring attention to them for the purpose of obtaining the greatest monetary benefit for Minnetonka Lutheran Church.

To this end, the quilts will be displayed in the Fellowship Hall during Coffee Hour on Sundays. There will be a brief history of each quilt (if known), sizes and other specifics. It is desired that loving, appreciative new owners will recognize their worth, and consider them as gifts for weddings, showers, Christmas, or indulge themselves. Photos will be taken of them and posted on the Church website, too.  Please let friends or relatives know of this opportunity. The greater exposure to these heirloom-quality quilts we have, the greater the benefit for MLC.
