Cupcakes and ICA
Cupcake Factory is the theme of this year's silent auction basket from Minnetonka Lutheran Church for the Taste of the Lakes benefit for ICA Food Shelf. The benefit takes place on Sept. 24 at BayView Event Center.
If you love to bake, or love to eat cupcakes, consider donating an ingredient or tool used in the making of your favorite cupcake. Perhaps you use a fun topping, or gourmet vanilla; or perhaps you use themed cupcake liners, or have found the perfect spatula for getting cupcakes out of their tin. We will combine all contributions into one basket, so the winner will be able to make memorable cupcakes in their home kitchen.
Or consider sharing a favorite recipe. If you have a family recipe, or a gem from a cookbook or blog (cite the source), please share it. We will compile all recipes into the MLC Cupcake Cookbook. A donation basket will be placed on the ICA table just outside of the volunteer room. Please join us as we come together on Sept. 24 to assist our neighbors in need.
