Minnetonka Lutheran Church

Devotions:  Mike Conroy provided devotions based on Romans 12:6-8, we each have different gifts.  This led him to the idea of members of all ages teaching their gifts to others, e.g. quilting, throwing a football, playing banjo, etc.  We could call it “Zinger” of the month. 

Pastor Bob:  Pastor Bob highlighted the production of the annual report, that, while agonizing, it was fruitful, even producing a sermon “Can Anything Good Come Out of the Church?”  Plans for Lent are taking shape. 

Pastor Paul:  Pastor Paul highlighted that he had several good visits with home-bound members in December, hearing great stories of fascinating lives.  The Confirmation classes had their second informal coffee shop night this past Wednesday.  The Senior High ATLAS service trip has been scheduled for the end of June just outside Pittsburgh, with a variety of projects to work on.  A C&F event is coming up this Saturday, January 21.

Congregational events:  “Zinger of the Month” was addressed under devotions.  There seems to be room for more opportunities to join sports teams, especially cross-generational teams. 

All Ministry Team Meeting:  An All-Ministry Team meeting is planned for February 16 at 7:00.
