CONFIRMATION RETREATS

Minnetonka Lutheran Church
EACH YEAR there are 3 Confirmation Retreats. Two of them are required: A fall retreat for 7th-9th graders and a spring retreat for 9th graders. The third is an optional retreat programed and run by Camp Onomia staff. Information and registration links for all three retreats can be found below.
7th-9th GRADE RETREAT
WHEN: Saturday, October 8th- Sunday the 9th
WHERE: Camp Karonis, Painsville MN
COST: $75 If finances are tight, talk to Pastor Paul- money should never stop anyone from attending a retreat!
WHAT TO BRING:
1) toiletries (towels, wash rags, soap, shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brush, etc.)
2) BIBLE!
3) Clean clothes for Saturday and Sunday
4) Outdoor clothes for walking/playing outside (weather permitting, we’ll do some group activities outside) We will also have access to an indoor gym for free time/group activities
5) SNACKS: We ask each student to bring a snack to share with the group. Students may also wish to bring some money for purchasing pop from the pop machine.
A note about electronic devices: If Pastor Paul or any other leaders see your cell phones or ipods, they will be taken away until the end of the retreat, no questions or exceptions.
9th GRADE RETREAT

WHEN: Friday, April 20th-Sunday, April 22nd
WHERE: Camp Onomia, Onamia MN
COST: TBD If finances are tight, talk to Pastor Paul- money should never stop anyone from attending a retreat!
We will meet at church at 5:00. If you need help getting to church, talk to somone else in the group or to Pastor Paul and we'll figure out a way to get you here.
We will return around noon on Sunday

Carpools can be arranged among those students whom are attending.
