Minnetonka Lutheran Church
Summer stretch is a summer service and fellowship program for junior high/middle school aged youth that seeks to provide a safe, healthy place for them to have fun and to serve the community.
Minnetonka Lutheran and several other churches are partnering to provide this opportunity to our young people this summer.


Young people from all of these churches will get together each Thursday for service and recreation. Wooddale Luthertan Church in St. Louis Park will serve as our “home base”; youth should be brought there in the morning and picked up there in the afternoon.
We start each week at 9 AM and conclude at 5 PM.

The cost per participant is $150 which INCLUDES all program activities, including admission to Valleyfair, as well as lunches and T-shirts. We understand that people have busy summers, but it’s too difficult to make the program work if we let people register for specific days. However, the cost reflects an expectation that each participant will miss up to two weeks. Those who can make it to all six simply get a great deal!
